The importance of Love...

"When we ask God for something, our motives may be initially mixed with selfish desires.  But as Christians God has a plan, and if we allow Him to He will make our desires a part of His plan.  Most likely that plan will reach out to others who are in desperate, even life threatening need who's need will not only answer your prayers and needs, but answer another person's prayers and needs.  God will work in and through the situation to turn originally mixed motives into ones that honors God and serves Him by helping those in serious need.

While those around you may say to you, "You are the most selfish person I have ever known", God will say to you, " You gave your life for a friend"."
