The cost of Love...

"Love must cost us something or it's not love.  Love gives beyond reasonable expectations, in the face rejection, and is always vulnerable.  The Love God shows us, and asks us to show others is vulnerable to hurt, otherwise it would just be meaningless words.  Real Love sacrifices what it values most for the sake of another, that is itself, because that is it's nature.  The Love of God is not just words or mere emotion, it is the gentle presence of God's Spirit revealed through us."
